James Graham Brown Cancer Center Cyberknife Build-Out

Louisville, Kentucky

This existing concrete shielded vault needed to be enlarged which required saw-cutting and removal of a 3 ft. thick concrete wall. Then a new concrete wall and additional lead shielding needed to be placed. This all took place in the middle of an active Cancer Treatment Facility. Our design team evaluated how the Cyberknife could be incorporated, and our build team made sure it was done in a timely manner with little disruption to the Cancer Center.
